The Waltz of Illusions

This period is marked by the appearance of frescos and of Lilliputians characters. A long string of indigo silhouettes, inspired by the traditional art of the Haitian " Voodoo blacksmiths"* revolves around the central figure. From now on, the main character seems to dialogue and interact with these phantasmagoric and mischievous intruders.

Time seems suspended. The model in a pensive gesture is immobilized in an eternal wait, captive of its own dreams.

The works of this time period brings about, solo exhibitions in galleries, cultural centers and group exhibitions abroad.

*Voodoo blacksmiths: artists, who from corroded oils drums, create flat metal sculptures, which translate the popular culture of Haitian society.
