The African Woman's Cloth of Prudence

Supplanted rival wives, women that devour souls, lying in wait, seizes the artist'imagination during her sojourn in Africa.

Intrigues, superstitions, beliefs and voodoo interwoven on a cloth of prudence, appear in the background, as filigree of the "Fons" life. A scenery tinted with the colors of Dahomey.

*Fons : Ethnic group, most prominent in Southern Benin.
