The day of which Aklama gifts is not heralded by sunrise*

Aklama is a personal god among the Eve*. He is also a god of good luck and so his name is used as an Eve word for good luck. He gives gifts to people when they least expect them. The proverb can be used as an encouragment to people to be always hopeful and to banish anxiety from their lives. It is an expression of faith in the goodness of life or God.

*Sunrise : In this context means earth shaking event
*Eve : Ethnic group found in Ghana and Togo
