Stained Neck
10" X 4"

Calabash and wrought metal

My neck should not stain under the burden of a message.

According to this proverb, when a person is suffering and is afflicted morally, she tries not be noticed. The person is not radiant. Especially women in a state of affliction walk with their hands wrapped around their neck or on their head a gesture, which is seen as a sign of sadness and discouragement.

When a person is not suffering or burden by sadness, that person does not huddle up , on the contrary, she will walk with her head high and her neck straight.
